Power Up will host a fundraising ball on 30 August, with proceeds going to the Children’s Cancer Foundation.
The event, A Night at the Rouge: Can-Can for Cancer, will take place at the Arthur Titley Centre from 6pm to midnight.
It will feature live music from Ron and Deb Duo, performances from the Power Up Dance Troupe, food service, and a bar.
Power Up owner and dance teacher Lucy Hall said the event is about more than entertainment, with every ticket helping support a vital cause.
"Every ticket purchased, every prize ticket bought, it all helps - because all profits from the night will go directly to the Children's Cancer Foundation,” she said,
"We wanted to create something truly special for our community - a night where people can dress up, have fun, and also make a difference.”
A prize draw will also be held at the ball, with tickets available from 15 August.
The first prize is a necklace valued at $6,000, created by Bartlett Master Jewellers in Townsville.
Second and third place prizes will also be awarded.
Tickets to the ball are on sale now at https://www.trybooking.com/DEBRB or via the included QR code.
